The Office of the Registrar has moved to a ticketing system that has replaced all previously used emails associated with our office. This is a new way to get any queries and requests answered by the Office of the Registrar.

How can you submit a query/request:
For current/previously enrolled students, alumni, faculty/staff, parents, or third parties you can submit a request by going to the Registrar's main page. Then click Registrar Request and Submit my request on the top right corner. Or go directly to our ticketing system via the following https://rpi-registrar.zendesk.com/hc/en-us.
Current enrolled students
Please sign into your RPI account. Then enter your RPI email address and Rensselaer Identification Number (RIN#) in the requested fields. Make sure to fill in all fields shown in order to submit the request.
Previously enrolled students or Alumni
- If you remember your RIN# please enter it in the RIN field.
- If you do not know your RIN# please enter unknown in the RIN field as an answer. Do not enter your SSN#
- Make sure to fill in all fields shown in order to submit the request.
- If you do not have a RIN# we recommend that when filling out the Description field that you provide your Date of Birth so we can better assist you.
Parent or Third Party
- Since you might not know the student’s RIN# you can enter unknown in the RIN field as an answer. Do not enter a SSN#
- We recommend that when filling out the Description field that you provide the students Date of Birth so we can better assist you.
- Make sure to fill in all fields shown in order to submit the request.
Faculty/Staff
Please sign into your RPI account. Then enter your RPI email address and Rensselaer Identification Number (RIN#) in the requested fields. For Faculty/ Staff we have created a category Faculty/Staff only that has an array of topics to choose from to help you submit questions and forms to us. Instructions to open a request listed below.
How long will it take the query/request to be reviewed:
If you submit the request with all correct categories filled out, we will respond to you within two business days. If any further information is needed we will notify you.
